Born: 1973 Kaunas, Lithuania
Bio: Brigita was born in 1973. She graduated from Vilnius Fine Arts Academy (Kaunas Institute of Arts) in 1996, majoring in textile. In the summer of 1994 while studying drawing & sculpture at the International Summer Academy of Arts in Salzburg,she received a scholarship to work with prominent french Installation artist Prof. Anne & Patrick Poirier, for the following year. After moving to Australia in 1998 Brigita also studied Digital&Photography Imaging at RMIT. Subsequently she had a solo exhibition at "Ripustus" gallery in Hammenlinna-Finland and "Egles Galerija" in Kaunas, as wellas numerous group exhibitions in Europe and Australia. In 2001 Brigita and her partner Vaidas Zvirblis founded "Bird's Gallery", where they exhibit their recent works in a wide range of medias.
