Australian artists formed a busy expatriate group in London at this time, and Highgate was a meeting place for a number of painters and writers, including Arthur Boyd, Blackman, Perceval, Al Alvarez,Ted Hughes and Barry and Rosalind Humphries. These collection of drawings are from sketchbooks of this period.
