In August – September the 3rd Annual MultiFaith Arts Festival is being held. Kinross House is the initiating group, but the festival has grown and now draws support and input from groups such as Leo Baeck Arts Centre (Kew), Islamic Council of Victoria, Clifton Creative Arts Centre and Richmond Uniting Church. Some very interesting events are being planned, including the Postcard Project (where artists from the three Abrahamic Faith Traditions reflect on marriage through creating postcards then share and respond to the work of the other artists). This project has been running since early June and already we have quite a number of really wonderful and thoughtful ‘postcards’. Following their initial showing in Kinross, the works will be exhibited to other faith communities in Richmond, Kew and Thornbury. Uniting Arts Toorak in Kinross House, 603 Toorak Road, Toorak.
