Studio Paradiso was founded by practising artist and teacher Diana Orinda Burns in 2002. It is located in the former Primitive Methodist Church at Sandon, near Castlemaine. Practising artists attend weekly printmaking workshops in order to utilise Studio Paradiso’s facilities and resources as well as to exchange professional criticism, advice and inspiration. The exhibition “Studio Paradiso @ Falkner Gallery” celebrates the achievements of the group participating in the workshops. The techniques of monoprint, collagraph, etching and mixed media are explored using a range of subjects and contemporary styles by seven artists: Kim Barter, Robyn Gibson, Maritsa Gronda, Kir Larwill, Jane Marriott, Diana Orinda Burns and Richard Sullivan.
