Feyona van Stom

Born and grew up in Hong Kong in 1951 of Dutch and Scottish heritage, and married André in 1971
I have 4 children and 3 step children
Lived in New York, 1972 to 1978 – Studied fabric art, quilting and interior design
Moved to Sydney, 1978 to 1981 – Studied ceramics
Moved to Los Angeles and then Connecticut, 1981 to 1989 – Studied watercolour and design
Moved back to Sydney, 1989 to present
» Associate diploma, Seaforth College of Fine Arts – Won Sculpture Award – Studied life drawing, theory, photography, print-making, welding, computer art, sculpture, painting, design, drawing
» Ewart Gallery – Studied painting, ceramics and life drawing
» Royal Art Society – Studied life drawing
» Finn’s Glassworks – Studied glass slumping
» Ku-ring-gai Art Centre – Studied watercolour, oil painting, acrylic painting, life drawing, glass casting & slumping, and ceramics
